The Devonshire Arms, Cracoe is the ideal base to stay when cycling the Way of the Roses coast to coast cycle route, located just over 5 miles north from the delightful market town of Skipton “gateway to the dales”. The hotel is a main overnight stop and watering hole on the route being approximately 50 miles from Morecambe and 100 miles from Bridlington.
Under new management The Devonshire Arms is Perfectly situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, The Devonshire Arms offers six stunning boutique en-suite letting rooms with all amenities. One night stays are welcome from Mon - Thurs, last minute at weekends and October to March.
For purists & hobbyists alike the Devonshire Arms at Cracoe is the perfect spot. This popular traditional dales pub is cyclist friendly with lockable cycle storage at the rear of the pub for those staying overnight and racks both front and rear for those just taking a break. We are happy to welcome vehicles (or trailers) up to 25ft long and 7'6" wide.
Heavily featured on TV during the Tour de France as the race passed the front door with the pre race processions followed by an amazing splash of colour as the cyclists passed through in front of a large cycling mad crowd!
We will also be on the newly announced TOUR DE YORKSHIRE route, starting 2015.
