The Castle Inn pub is located at the top end of Skipton High Street next to the Holy Trinity Church and is ideally situated for visitors to this bustling medieval market town.

 

Traditional, home cooked food is served all day. There is something for everyone on our extensive and varied menu. Families welcome. We serve homemade pub food every day from 11am and a selection of cask ales is always available. Everyone is welcome whether you're a local or a visitor; whether you're dining with us or just want to put your feet up and watch the world go by from our fantastic beer garden.

 

Our menu has something for everyone including our famous Steak & Old Peculier Pie, the Mighty Mixed Grill and the Castle Tower Burger. Remember to check today's specials!

A fabulous location for a romantic break this Skipton cottage is in an ideal location for enjoying the town, with a great range of new and old pubs, restaurants and the famous canal basin just a short stroll away, and there is excellent walking from the doorstep. Further afield, enjoy moorland walks at Bolton Abbey, the mouthwatering local farmers' markets at Grassington or visit elegant Harrogate - all within easy reach. An ideal Dales retreat, whatever the time of year.

Had an evening meal here whilst on a one night stay in Skipton. It was a Monday night in February so it was very quiet and the pub had run out of some of the ciders which had been on offer. The young lady behind the bar was helpful and pleasant, the food was hot and tasty pub grub style...

Popped in for Sunday lunch. Very attentive staff. Had the roast beef and Yorkshire pud and wasnt disappointed. 2 good thick slices of beef big Yorkshire pud no aunt bessies here thank goodness. Delicious creamy mash, veg selection bit boring but fresh and tasty. Good thick gravy...very nice. My wife had the stilton and veg crumble with home cooked chips...

Stayed in Skipton on a Mon night in February & very quickly realised that most restaurants appeared to be closed on Mondays!!! So glad though because although we weren't expecting much from this pub, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding, excellent choice on the menu & really tasty & obviously home cooked food. The staff were so friendly...
