Mulberry Whin is a superb stretch of well maintained water flowing through grassland at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds and It covers over 1 mile of Double Bank Chalkstream fishing. Forming part of the nationally renowned "Driffield West Beck", the river is spring fed from numerous smaller streams.
Although well-stocked, Mulberry-Whin has many wild trout as well, and are clearly visible moving between the numerous swaying fronds of weed in the beautiful clear water, making this an ideal location for the discerning angler on what has been described as one of the best stretches of Chalkstream Fishing available in the U.K.
“Excellent B&B on Way of the Roses route”
Like a little holiday cottage for the night, with a fantastic full English breakfast in the morning.

I travelled alone and was given a very large bedroom, Whinlodge, for one night. Smart, clean, bright and with views across the gardens at the back and with the front door open, views across the farm yard to the duck pond (with ducks). Large en-suite with bath and shower above, heated towel rail and shampoo, etc. Small fridge with fresh...

i stayed for 1 night while working in Driffield. I had a twin room "Whinlodge". Very comfortable warm room - i actually had to turn the radiator off. Large en-suite bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Room had a small fridge which had water and fresh milk in it - i hate UHT milk which most B&B's have. Beeches...
“Lovely rural setting - peaceful and quiet”
We rented two x twin rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, and took our cycles along with us. We received a warm welcome, free wifi, a fabulous breakfast, and safe bike storage. The rooms were accessed from outside, so we could come and go as we pleased. Perfect for a rural retreat...
“"Green" accommodation, comfortable, quiet and friendly”
We stayed one night in Whin Lodge, their B&B room, with lovely en-suite, including a powerful shower. Free wifi, not used. Tea and coffee making facilities, plus a fridge, with fresh milk. Very useful. Extremely comfortable bed, with views over the duck pond. Nice walks on the farm and through the picturesque village. Friendly owners, and we had a marvellous...
“A very friendly welcome and comfortable accommodation.”
Very welcoming hosts. Nice to be self contained. The barn conversion had been done sympathetically. Liked the fresh milk in the fridge and the generous selection at breakfast - no little plastic pots...
