Reviews

“Excellent”

Fantastic food, couldn't fault it, looking forward to going back!! Very reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend the lasagne and home made pie and the chips are amazing.

“Great Sunday Carvery”

What a great place to visit for Sunday lunch. A choice of beef, turkey and gammon all cooked perfectly, the vegetables are fresh, no frozen here and the dessert is all inclusive of the £9.95 price. This certainly one of the best, if not the best carvery we have found for a long time. We will most certainly be calling again!!

“Pie night”

The best pie money can buy by far +++++++++++ and lots and lots of it amazing and hepatitis yourself to all the veg mash chips.

“A very good Sunday Lunch”

We have been to South Lodge several times in recent weeks and found the food to be very good. Pie night is well worth a visit with several pies on offer and help yourself to veg. Sunday lunch is one of the best I have had in a pub for a long time with a generous portion of the roast of your choice and help yourself to a goo d choice of fresh veg. The beer is good but by the time you have your meal there isn't much room for it. We are going again next week with family.
