Brownlee Triathlon

Olympic and Commonwealth Champion brothers Alistair and Jonny Brownlee will be bringing the Brownlee Tri back to Harewood House on 26th September 2015, to encourage people of all ages and abilities to take part in a sport that has given them so much enjoyment over the years. In the heart of Yorkshire where the brothers live, Harewood House gives the chance to ride on the same roads as the Tour de France and run the routes the Brownlees regularly train on. Sprint and super-sprint triathlon distances for individuals will be available, as well as having youth, junior and adult categories, mates waves, and a sprint relay. There will be plenty for spectators and supporters to enjoy, with a host of activities in the Entertainment Village ensuring a fun day out for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you, your friends and family at Harewood next September! http://www.brownleetri.com/course/

Descent into Pateley Bridge

Over recent months there have been a number of accidents at Greenhow Hill descending into Pateley Bridge.  Please note that this is a tricky descent with a gradient of 16% with uneven surface in places and sharp bends on the descent going from west to east.  Please take extra care on this section of the route as it can be very slippery, particularly in wet weather.
