Harling House is a Limestone Dale's house built in 1875 by William Metcalfe, and is perfectly located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a short walking distance to the amenities of Ingleton village.

We have four tastefully refurbished bedrooms available, all of which are light and airy, with dual aspect windows and en-suite shower rooms. For your comfort, all rooms are fully carpeted and have controllable heating. Hospitality trays with high quality drinks selection and fresh milk are provided. Each room has a flat screen TV with Freeview channels and DVD player. All beds have British made pocket sprung mattresses to ensure a relaxing night's sleep.
With a selection of room sizes, including a single, double and a twin/super king, there is sure to be a room to meet your requirements.
Our rooms are named after the rivers and waterfalls of Ingleton, for which the area is well known.
The Thornton is adaptable and can be used as a twin or super-king size room. This bright and airy room has views towards Whernside and the surrounding countryside. There is an en-suite shower room, flat screen TV as mentioned above and modern furnishings to make your stay comfortable.
The Doe is a spacious single room, providing both luxury and comfort. With double aspect countryside views and own en-suite facilities, TV and DVD player. More details and pictures here.
The Greta is a double room with solid oak bed. Being at the front of the house, this room has views towards Ingleborough. The en-suite is a lovely large shower room and of course the room has flat screen TV as mentioned above.
The Beezley will be on the ground floor and will open in 2015. This room has views of the garden and the decorative cast iron fireplace adds to the charm of this room. With a solid oak bed and pocket sprung mattress, plus your en suite shower room, we are sure you will find this room to be very light, airy and comfortable.
Guests also have their own lounge on the ground floor, to relax and unwind after a long walk. Alternatively you may wish to read a good book with a cup of nice tea and some homebaking (served each afternoon). Chess, dominos, cards and scrabble are also available for your use.

Perfectly situated for cycling
Harling House is perfectly situated for cycling in the Western Yorkshire Dales, Lune Valley and Trough of Bowland and ideal for stopping over when cycling the Way of the Roses.
We have a lockable cycle shed and plenty of room to store your gear. We've listed a few cycle route ideas below, and you'll find that there are some great quiet back roads with stunning scenery that you may want to try out too. Ingleton has a Cycle Sportive in July, with 2 routes, so this also gives you an idea of the fantastic options in the area, for both experienced and novice cyclists.
There's a cycle store with a full repair workshop nearby. Other facilities in Ingleton include the fantastic BMX Pump Tracks which are non-racing tracks. Increasingly popular in recent years, BMX Pump Tracks are ideal for beginners or for those looking to improve their biking skills, riding BMX or a mountain bike.
