Situated just a short walk away from the centre of the picturesque village of Giggleswick, and the vibrant market town of Settle, Valleymead provides comfortable, high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.There are superb panoramic views of Settle and the hills beyond from the front of the house, whilst at the rear is a large private terraced garden. Valleymead is situated on the ‘Way of the Roses‘ cycle route making it an ideal place to stay.
Our bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished and decorated to ensure you a restful night’s sleep. In the morning, enjoy looking into the garden from the light and airy dining area as you linger over your choice of breakfast.
Set in an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, there are many attractive and historic towns and villages in the area, with numerous footpaths to take you there.
The Ribblehead viaduct, over which the famous Settle to Carlisle railway passes, is close by. We are also conveniently located for Giggleswick School and the Richard Whitely Theatre.
For the energetic, the Yorkshire ‘Three Peaks Walk‘, which starts at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, only 6 miles from Settle, takes you over Phen-y-ghent, Whernside & Inglebrough, a round route of approx 25 miles.
A comprehensive selection of fruit juices, cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, full traditional English breakfast, toast and tea or coffee are always available.

Valleymead has ample parking for guests and visitors within our own grounds. If you are cycling, we have a secure area for storing your bicycle overnight. Settle station is about a 15 minute walk away. We can arrange to pick you up from Settle railway station.
