Welcome to Hornby Tea Rooms & Post Office and our 'Post Box Apartment’, which is a perfect place to stay in the beautiful Lune Valley. The tea rooms are open 7 days a week mon - Sat 9 -4.30 and 10 - 4 Sun. Hornby Tea Rooms & Post Office offer a full range of homemade cakes, wholesome soups, breakfasts, light meals & daily specials and illy coffee. Anthea and Deborah Source all the produce locally for their homemade fare including suppliers such as Brades Farm, Hornby Butchers and Wallings Ice Cream. Secure parking for cycles. Mention Way of the Roses when booking and receive a 10% discount, also free bottle fills for cyclists.

A great meeting point for walking and cycling groups before exploring the timeless landscape of lush pastures and ancient stone villages of the picturesque Lune Valley.
Hornby village has a historic castle, river walks, cycle routes, and a good local pub. Hornby is in-between Morecambe and Wray, which is situated on the Way of the Roses coast-to-coast cycle route making it an ideal place to stop.

The self-contained three-bed apartment above Hornby Post Office sleeps 6/7. Fitted out to a very high standard, and features a bright and modern kitchen/diner, three bedrooms (double and two twins) large bathroom and hallways. The apartment has its own access and outside there is a patio and garden, storage space for bikes etc and field to the rear.
