If it is a nice evening, go out through the French doors on to the veranda and sit at the table under the sun umbrella - or if it's cold and damp, relax in front of the log fire. See a photograph of the veranda on our Eating In/Out page above.
The Dining Room

Breakfast at Mickley's
Wherever possible we get local ingredients. When our neighbours’ free range hens are laying we buy their delicious rich eggs. When they’re not, we get wonderful free range eggs from one or two places locally. Our sausages, bacon and black pudding are all bought locally from Paul Dennis at ‘Masham Sausages’ just outside Ripon and they have won awards for their sausages. Our coffee beans are sent up from London, so I am afraid they are neither local nor home made! Should you require something extra for breakfast, like fresh fruit, please just ask when booking your room.
Our earliest breakfast sitting is 07:30 and our latest is 09.00, unless otherwise pre-arranged.
Up to 6pm the night before, we can get you a newspaper of your choice for you to read with your breakfast.
